GOD OF SHAPES

God of Shapes is a project to challenge my world-building skills. An interesting caveat to start with was religion, because of the amount of symbolism present in religions. Thus, I came up with Geometrism, a religion centered around shapes.

“The Creator lifted His hands to the void and formed a triangle to harness the power of the Tesseract. With the energy of the fourth dimension in the palm of His hands, life was created."

The God of Shapes, otherwise known as The Creator, formed an object known as the Tesseract, which is the culmination of all the dispersed energy throughout the void that the world was. With its power, he created life. He made three gods to manage heaven, Earth, and hell. The triangle is heaven, the square is Earth, and the circle is hell.

The Creator's trapezoid head represents the structure he provided to the world, as many ancient structures began with trapezoidal platforms as the foundation.

He's depicted in a mandorla (that almond-shaped gate) as a reference to old Buddhist and Christian art. Many of their heavenly figures are portrayed in mandorlas. Mandorlas are seen as the bridge between heaven and Earth. Think about it like the in-between section of a Venn Diagram.
